The Project

Create a ‘Made for Canada’ National Network for official, post-secondary documents and credentials to support national and international student mobility, admissions, and transfer. 

 

Scope

A National Network that supports official, permission-based document and data sharing and exchange (inbound and outbound) for learners seeking to enter, transfer between, and move beyond post-secondary institutions in Canada.

 

Strategic Priorities

Ensure quality assurance and fraud mitigation.

Enhance official, digitized student document sharing in and across post-secondary institutions and with partner organizations and government.

Enhance efficiencies and support scalable student service delivery.

Contribute to cross-Canada and international student mobility, labour mobility, and transfer goals.

Preserve the Canadian higher education brand by reducing fraud.

Close gaps within and across regional boundaries including in those parts of Canada that currently lack student data exchange capacity.

First stage implementation

Conduct security/privacy assessment of chosen vendor platform(s), if applicable
Finalize agreement with potential vendor(s), if applicable
